About Mark Hoppe

I completed a four year degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Technology, Sydney, in 2002. My studies post graduation have focused on Classical Five Element Acupuncture. This style of acupuncture has proved to be incredibly
rewarding for me, both as a practitioner and a patient. I continue to receive regular treatment and continue to reap the benefits in terms of my own personal growth and well being.

I love my work. I feel truly grateful to be doing this for a living. I’m passionate about 5 Element acupuncture, and it really is an honour to be able to work with people on their healing journeys. I’m also passionate about spiritual/personal development and awakening in general, and I’m always walking my own path in this regard. I find that working on myself enriches the work I do with others and keeps it real. The reverse is also true, in that working with others in the clinic enriches my own development.

Before discovering acupuncture my main passion was music. I worked as a struggling guitarist / songwriter in a band for many years! I still play regularly in a covers band, more for fun nowdays.

Other than that, I spend as much time as possible at home with my wife Jane and our daughters, Eloise & Eva.
